Schön war es trotzdem und Auckland selber hat auch Spaß gemacht, mit seiner Armada an weißen Segeln der Schiffe und den monströsen Stadtautobahnen. Aber wie Alex immer sagt: bei gutem Wetter hinterlässt jeder Ort den besten Eindruck von sich.
Wir trennen uns von Aragon dem Camper und steigen in den Flieger nach Tahiti. Am 12.02. sind wir losgeflogen in Auckland, am 11.02 kommen wir in Papeete auf Tahiti an. Verrückte Sachen gibt es.
/The last week in New Zealand we were rather busy driving, visiting the coromandel Peninsular east of Auckland and the bay of islands north of Auckland. Almost stressfull, haha. We saw a lot of beaches and ocean and scenery full of green hills. When you don’t have a lot of time and still want to explore more, you don’t take the time and in the end you don’t really experience much at all. I wanted to go on a Katamaran ride at the Bay of Islands but we didn’t have the 8 hours to spare the time because we had to drive all the way back to Auckland to catch a flight to Tahiti. It was still a good Time. Auckland itself was also great, with all those white sails and monstrous city highways. But as Alex likes to mention: when the weather is right you always see the best of every place.
We said goodbye to Campervan Aragon and took the plane to Papeete, Tahiti. Funny feeling, boarding a plane on the 12th of February and arriving at the destination on the 11 th of February. The world is full of strange and wonderful things.
