Start ins Camper-Leben

Wir sind von Singapur über Melbourne nach Christchurch geflogen, wo wir direkt aus der Sommerkleidung raus und in die langen Hosen und dicken Jacken reingesprungen sind. Windig, bewölkt, gefühlte 12 Grad. (Wahrscheinlich waren es 18 Grad, aber im Vergleich zu Singapur ist es eine Eiszeit). Wir kommen erst abends an und übernachten im Hotel, bevor wir am nächsten Morgen den Camper abholen. Ein Zwischenstopp beim Supermarkt und los geht’s.
Unser erstes Ziel war Akaroa, eine Halbinsel direkt neben Christchurch. Gutes Wetter, blauer Himmel, nur der Wind ist etwas frisch.

We went from Singapore to Melbourne and from there to Christchurch, where we jumped out of our shorts and into long pants and jackets. Its windy and cloudy and feels like 12 degree celcius (it's probably around 18 degrees celcius but after Singapore it feels like the ice age). We arrive late in the afternoon and stay overnight in an hotel before picking up the camper in the morning. First stop is the supermarket and then we are off. 
The first destination is Akaroa, an peninsular close to christchurch. Good weather, blue skies and a slightly cooler breeze.
