Alles begann bei BBQ in Hongdae, einer der besten party-districts in Seoul. Ich kannte niemanden außer den Gastgeber Nail und José aus Spanien./It all started with bbq in Hongdae, a major party area in Seoul. I didn't know anybody except the host Nail and José from Spain.
Samgyeopsal, Schweineschwarte mit mehr Fett als Fleisch. Nicht so ganz mein Geschmack, aber die Koreaner mögen das am liebsten./Samgyeopsal, Bacon with more fat than meat on the plate. Not my thing but Koreans like it best.
Ein hof ist ein Trinkladen in dem man auch Zimmer mieten kann um da rum zu hängen, zu essen und trinken und fern zu sehen oder so Späße. Deutsche würden zum Fernsehen ja Freunde nach Hause einladen aber das ist hier nicht üblich./A hof is a trinking place where you can also rent rooms to hang out, eat, drink, and watch tv. Germans would invite friends home to hang out, but thats not common in Korea.
Nail hat uns ein paar Bespaßungs-Items mitgebracht. Hat die Party wirklich lustig gemacht./Nail got us all some fun items to play with while drinking and eating. Definitely a great idea.
Festmahl zum Trinken muss sein in Korea. Außer José und mir hat sich wohl beim BBQ keiner satt gegessen./Having a feast for drinking is a must-do in Korea. Seems like nobody except for José and me was full after the bbq.

Zum Mittag war ich am Samstag mit Rosa und Pierre verabredet. Französisch essen.../Had a lunch date the next day with Rosa and Pierre. French cucine...
Pierre hatte ein Lachssteak. Sieht gut aus./Pierre had a salmon steak. Looks yummie, right?!

Mein Essen, das ich nicht bestellt hatte. Ich sagte ca. 3 mal SALAT und zeige auf den gewünschten Salat, der Kellner wiederholt 3 mal SCALETTE. Das is dann wohl Scalette. Pierre hats nicht geschmeck. Ich hab mal eine Muschel probiert, aber war gar nicht lecker, eher zäh und knorpelig. Bäh./My lunch which I didn't order. I repeated three times SALAD and the waiter repeated three times SCALETTE. So I guess that's what scalette is. Pierre didn't like it. But I got to try muscels. Didn't like them though. Weird texture, really unpleasant!
Nachtisch. Fresh-Mango-Joghurt-Smoothie. Dazu ein Stück Brownie am Stiel. Passt zwar nicht zusammen aber ich wollte den Brownie ausprobieren. Lecker!/Desert-time. Fresh-Mango-Yoghurt-Smoothie. The stick-thing is a brownie on a stick. Doesn't really go well with the mano-yoghurt, but I wanted to try the brownie. So yummie.
