Oppa Gangnam Style

A little fun for your day. K-Pop is a big thing here and I never really got into it that much. But since I live in the hostel and ppl here tell me all about it, I decided to make a little post on it. We actually saw "ShinEE" and "INFINITE" at the Expo, so now I can even say I was at a K-Pop concert :)

A chart breaker : Gangnam Style by PSY. (Gangnam is a modern part of town with lots of offices, plastic surgery, restaurants and brand shops. The song tells you what kinds of girls you can find in Gangnam)

Boy bands here are a MUST. Big Bang is a pretty big deal. At first I was wondering what the heck is going on and why they all look so weird. But their music is everywhere and you get used to it so fast. And those dance moves seem to be required to pass high school, so many young ppl can dance them.

SHINee just released a new album so they are aired a lot in coffee shops and such.

The girls from girls generation must be like 20 members. Why would you have 20 girls as members if only like 3 are singing anyways? Such a Korean thing.

Super Junior is the Brittanys favorite band. She lives in the hostel with me.

Obviously there are tons of other bands here but I chose videos from the ones I know. Good thing I only knew the music until today, because those videos are questionable... I guess it's art...

Diggin' in

I coudn't help but notice, while we travelled through Korean and Japan I ate a lot, and there are a lot of pictures of me eating. So I decided to make a little collage of me and Alex eating. Usually pictures of people eating is not the most aesthetic, but actually quite funny.
Die Fotos sind in keiner bestimmten Reihenfolge. / Pictures are in random order.
